Maxxis Sponsors NOPI Drift
3/22/2007Maxxis will sponsor the NOPI Drift series in its inaugural year, the company has announced. An offshoot of the NOPI Nationals, the series will offer contests for all skill levels at sites across the country from March through September.

The anticipation of the 2007 NOPI Professional Drift Series is at an all-time high, as we are heading into our first event in Phoenix March 17 and 18. Officials at Maxxis confirmed the company’s commitment to the NOPI Drift series and to the sport. "We are dedicated to providing amazing opportunities for drifters at the NOPI Professional Drift Series events. Through our support of the series and contingency support for any driver that takes advantage of our high quality performance tires, we expect to see new champions rise to the top," said James Mason, marketing coordinator for Maxxis’ automotive department.
