Maxxis Honored by Ford and Nissan in China
2/02/2007Maxxis’ Shanghai plant has received Excellent Supplier awards from both Jiangling-Ford Auto and Zhengzhou-Nissan. These prestigious awards were presented in late 2006 at annual suppliers’ meetings.
The plant has received the Excellent Supplier award from Jiangling-Ford for eight consecutive years. Delivery, quality, service, and business strategy are among the criteria used in Ford’s selection process. Jiangling Motors is a joint venture with Ford Motor Company, and Maxxis supplies tires for the Ford Transit model vehicles produced by Jiangling.
Zhengzhou-Nissan’s award recognizes Maxxis’ product development, quality, delivery, price, and service. Maxxis’ Shanghai factory supplies original equipment tires for Nissan pick-up trucks targeted at the Chinese market.
Maxxis is honored by these awards and expresses its gratitude to the employees of the Shanghai plant.
