Luna’s Gould Wins US Pro XCT #3
6/11/2010The Luna Pro Team’s Georgia Gould won the US Pro CST #3, held May 29 in Austin, Texas, with teammate Katerina Nash joining her on the podium in third place.
With every rider battling the day’s intense heat and humidity, Gould paced herself carefully, finishing in 1:42:55 hours. "I knew it was going to be super hot, so I didn't want to go super hard and be in the red zone. So, I started out a bit conservatively," she told cyclingnews.com.
Nash, who had partnered with Gould on a breakaway during the first lap, finished 3:17 minutes behind Gould.
