Coleman 3rd at X Games Asia Mini Mega Ramp

6/08/2010

Maxxis’ sponsored riders did well at the X Games Asia Mini Mega Ramp, with a podium spot for Austin Coleman and fifth and sixth places for Morgan Wade and Anthony Napolitan. The event was held May 30 in Shanghai, China.

Coleman “scared the hell out of everyone more than once with [his] rolling down the window cat jumps on the quarterpipe,” according to FATBMX.com. “But he stuck three runs which included flipwhips and zakflips over de gap and double downside whips on the quarter.” Coleman racked up 86 points to take the bronze, his second of the Games. Three days earlier, he took third place in BMX Vert.

Wade and Napolitan had great runs as well, with Wade also accumulating 86 points. With a no-handed flip to double tailwhip on the quarterpipe, a barspin flip, double whip and bike flip over the gap, his run also earned praise from FATBMX.com.

Maxxis congratulates Austin Coleman, Morgan Wade and Anthony Napolitan on their fine performances and thanks them for choosing the brand of champions.
