CORR Champ Naughton Back for a 3rd Year with Maxxis
3/07/2008After nailing eight wins on Bighorn’s during the past season, CORR’s 2007 Pro Lite champion and Driver of the Year knows a good thing when he sees it: Robert Naughton will be sponsored by Maxxis in 2008.
Naughton rode Maxxis in 2007 and throughout 2006, when he was named Pro Lite Rookie of the Year. “We won a lot of races, and the tires are a pretty important part of that formula,” said Naughton. Another factor in his decision to sport the orange and black logo for a third year: the quality of the team at Maxxis, which he called “first-class.”
Brad Williams of Maxxis’ automotive department is also delighted by the ongoing partnership: “There are very few drivers, in any class, that can match Robert’s talent. We know we have one of the best.
