4th Straight World Cup DH Win for Jonnier
6/22/2009Maxxis-Rocky Mountain’s Sabrina Jonnier is proving unstoppable on the World Cup downhill circuit. With a 3:40-minute final run, Jonnier took her fourth consecutive victory June 21 in Maribor, Slovenia.
The previous day’s heavy rain muddied the course for the qualifying run, and the changeable weather dictated a switch in tire models. In any conditions, Jonnier trusts Maxxis. “I'm glad that I changed back to my favorite Maxxis High Rollers from the 2.5 WetScreams after qualifying, because the track was drying out quickly and conditions changed in favor of dry tires," she told cyclingnews.com. With three races left in the season, Jonnier holds a decisive lead in the race for the overall downhill World Cup.
Maxxis congratulates Sabrina Jonnier on her latest victory and thanks her for choosing the brand of champions.
